We have four (4) separate properties in the small community of Bwa Pen. They are located just off major East-West Route 305 in the Centre region of Haïti, about 10 miles from the Dominican Republic Border. The closet City is Lascahobas, a city of about 10,000 people, a few miles to the west. There is a Mission House, a School, some Agricultural Properties, and a Church.

Our Mission house sits on the first property purchased by Ronald and Marjorie Magloire. The 4-acre site was chosen for its rural location and its wonderful view. Under the initial guidance of John Youngberg and dedication of the Magloires and other Board members, the Mission house has blossomed. The house design is a large two story home with each floor having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each floor has a large common area and covered porch. The first floor has a large kitchen with propane cooking.

Electricity is now provided by an 4KW off-grid Solar Panel/Battery powered Inverter System, and supplemented by a backup generator. We’ve just completed the project of powering our School with our newly installed off-grid system, by running underground cables in PVC pipes from the Mission House all the way to the school. Computer Classes are now provided in our newly installed Computer Lab: Another first for the Bwa Pen area!

Running water is available. We have a very large underground water reservoir and two 300 gallons water tanks on the roof. Drinking water is from purchased 5 gallon containers and used in all cooking.

The Mission House is a comfortable place able to accommodate large number of missionaries as they attend to the needs of the local community. We can’t wait to see you!
